this week in science we made a presentaion on the mineral properties. then for the next two days we did an experiment using the six mineral properties. the mineral properties are miscelanious, density, color and streak, light and luster, fracture, and clevage. miscelanious is the test used to see if a rock reacts to certian conditions. density is the the mass and volume of the minerals. color and streak is the scratch and color of the mineral. light and luster is the way the mineral shines. fracture and clevage is how the rocks break.
