This week in science we continued with our dynamics unit. So far we learned that if the change in v arrows go in the same direction as the unbalanced force then the object will keep moving faster. For example ,if you push a car down a hill then the car will move faster. This is true because the unbalanced force is pointing down toward the bottom of the hill. If the change in v arrows go in the opposite direction of the unbalanced force then the object will slow down. For example, if you hit a soccer ball up a hill then the ball would slow down and start to go back down the hill. This is true because the ball's moving opposite of the unbalanced force. On Tuesday, we did an activity where we learned that not all objects move in the same direction as the unbalanced. We also learned from this activity that hypothesis can be disproved. On Wednesday we Did an activity for homework where we learned that mass effects the speed of an object.
