This week in Science we created a presentation for our experiments. In our experiments we tested if certian variable would effect the time it takes a coffee fillter to reach the ground. In my groups test we tested whether or not water and holes effect the speed of a falling coffee filter. In our experiment there was one thing wrong, after wetting the wet coffee filter with on holes there was a rip in it. This may have effected our results. Also this week in science we reviewed why we have moon phases and tides and seasons. We have tides because the moon's gravitational pull is pulling the water from the Earth. Then, the Earth's pull pulls it back down. We have moon phases because the moon both rotates and revolves around the Earth only allowing us to see one side of the moon. As this goes on the sun shines on half the moon causing us to see the different phases. We also learned that the further away the planets are from the sun the longer the year is.
